The Slovak Renewable Energy Agency (SK REA) is a non-profit organization established in 2006 in order to promote the development of renewable energy sources in Slovakia. Our activities help raise public awareness on energy-efficient solutions, but at the same time support the dialogue between the private sector and political sphere regarding issues of economic and legislative support of such technologies.
The key pillars of SK REA'S activities is supporting science and research in a field of renewable energy. The SREA is active partner in numerous projects in the Area of Solar Energy Use as a Source of Energy, helping to develop a research infrastructure to support the investigation and comparison of photovoltaic materials. They were also part of international project REPOWERMAP (Renewable Energy Power map) in cooperation with other EU countries. The map is showing examples of RES use in a given location.
